Job summary

Siemens Energy, Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking an OE Order Manager to support the Gas Turbine Blade, Vane department.

You will coordinate scheduling, demand accuracy, and forecasting to ensure on-time delivery and commercial success while driving continuous improvement. The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field and 3+ years in procurement, planning, or project management, with strong SAP and Excel skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years in procurement, planning, or project management roles.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and specs.
  • Strong SAP knowledge (S4 Hana preferred) and advanced Excel (VBA, Power Query); Snowflake/SQL exposure.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, data collection and presentation skills.
  • Impeccable communication, presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills with a hands-on attitude.
  • Understanding of MRP methodologies and impact on component delivery; manufacturing experience is beneficial.
  • Ability to build strong internal relationships with procurement, finance, project management, manufacturing, engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and reliable communication between internal interfaces to ensure on-time component delivery.
  • Confirm demand accuracy for components through collaboration with Engineering, Customers, Supply Team, Project Managers, and Logistics.
  • Determine monthly and quarterly sales forecasts to meet annual targets with cross-functional alignment.
  • Routinely update schedules to reflect changes, priorities, and delivery information; identify risks.
  • Participate in engineering change and development meetings to stay informed on changes.
  • Oversee order processing from entry to delivery, ensure accurate pricing, and maintain customer communication on all orders.
  • Support inventory accuracy and turns objectives while managing large orders with significant commercial risks.

The OE Order Manager is accountable for supporting the operational performance of the Gas Turbine Blade, Vane department for Siemens Energy, Inc. located in Orlando, FL. The position reports to the Order Execution Manager. We are seeking an energetic, motivated candidate bringing a positive outlook to the work. This position ensures the successful delivery of on-time, quality components to exceed customer expectations while contributing to continuous improvement and achieving commercial success.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Provide timely and reliable communication between internal interfaces to ensure integration of schedules and systems for on-time component delivery.
  • Confirm demand accuracy for components and applications through collaboration with Engineering, Customers, Supply Team, Project Managers, and Logistics.
  • Determine monthly and quarterly sales forecasts to meet annual sales targets while ensuring alignment among Engineering, Procurement, Production, and Customers.
  • Routinely update schedules to reflect date changes, priorities, and delivery information, identifying potential risks to management.
  • Participate in engineering change and development meetings to stay informed about changes affecting assigned parts.
  • Oversee order processing from entry to delivery, ensuring accurate sales order pricing and maintaining customer communication on all orders.
  • Support inventory accuracy and turns objectives while effectively managing large orders with complex scopes and significant commercial risks.
What You Bring
  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in Procurement, Planning, or Project Management roles.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requirements simultaneously.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineered drawings and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP (S4 Hana preferred) and advanced Excel skills, including VBA and Power Query, with exposure to Snowflake/SQL.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data collection, analysis, and presentation skills.
  • Impeccable communication, presentation, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with a hands‑on approach and a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Understanding of MRP methodologies and their impact on component delivery; manufacturing or project planning experience is beneficial.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal customers, procurement, finance, project management, manufacturing, engineering, and other departments.
