Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Texas seeks a Supply Chain Analyst – MRP Buyer to coordinate replenishment of raw materials and optimize material flow. This role focuses on aligning plant warehouse capacity with inventory targets to prevent disruptions and reduce costs.

You will collaborate with procurement and production planning, track KPI progress, support new product launches, and ensure adherence to food safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or manufacturing
• 2–4 years in production planning
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle/SAP/Infor BAAN)
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong familiarity with ERP and MRP systems
• APICS certification strongly recommended

Responsibilities

• Develop and publish Materials Requirements Plans (MRP) and place orders to meet customer requirements
• Coordinate with production planning and other departments to ensure continuity and cost control
• Track KPIs such as Inventory vs goal, service level, downtime and SLOB
• Attend production meetings to drive reporting and initiatives
• Understand inventory policies to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize costs
• Provide analytical forecasts and dashboards
• Generate shortages reports and present to planning team for adjustments
• Support new product launches and initial production runs
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure all activities meet quality, safety and regulatory requirements
• Other duties as assigned
