Scientific Applications & Research Associates, Inc. (SARA) in Colorado Springs seeks a Manufacturing Planning & MRP Implementation Lead to build and own the company’s new ERP-driven planning capability.

You will lead the Deltek Costpoint Manufacturing and MRP configuration, develop master data, and establish planning standards to scale production across programs; after rollout you’ll manage day-to-day scheduling and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 10-12 years of experience in manufacturing with focus on production scheduling, supply chain coordination, logistics or operations planning.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Cost Point.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
• Experience with inventory planning and production forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing Planning System Implementation: Lead Deltek Costpoint Manufacturing and MRP implementation and transition from spreadsheet-based planning.
• Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop executable production schedules and balance priorities across programs.
• Continuous Improvement: Develop KPIs and collaborate with supervisors to resolve scheduling conflicts and improve efficiency.
