Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an MRO Quality Inspector at Garner Field Airport in Uvalde, Texas. The role focuses on inspecting aircraft, engines, and components for FAA compliance, reviewing records, and ensuring documentation accuracy to uphold airworthiness standards.

You will collaborate with technicians and engineering teams, maintain quality records, and support audits and major repair activities. Requires FAA A&P and Part 145 experience with 5+ years in the field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of aircraft, engines, components, and systems for FAA and customer compliance.
• Review work orders, task cards, and maintenance records for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify use of current manufacturer manuals, FAA-approved data, and required documentation.
• Ensure parts meet traceability, certification, and installation eligibility requirements.
• Document and resolve discrepancies and nonconforming work.
• Support quality investigations and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Technicians, Crew Chiefs, Maintenance Management, and Engineering teams.
• Maintain inspection stamps, authorizations, and quality records.
• Support audits and major repair activities.

As an MRO Quality Inspector, you'll be an integral part of a team dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance in supporting business aircraft. • Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft, engines, components, and systems for FAA and customer compliance.
• Review work orders, task cards, and maintenance records for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify the use of current manufacturer manuals, FAA-approved data, and required technical documentation.
• Ensure parts meet , traceability, certification, and installation eligibility requirements.

Requirements

• Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
• Minimum five years of aircraft maintenance, inspection, or quality experience.
• Required experience in FAA Part 145 repair-station operations.
• Proficiency in 14 CFR Parts 43, 65, and 145.
• Strong understanding of maintenance recordkeeping and airworthiness requirements.
• Ability to interpret and apply technical data and identify nonconforming work.
• Inspection Authorization (IA) but not required.
• Business jet and Part 135 experience .
