Job summary

ENTEK in Terre Haute, Indiana is seeking a detail-oriented MRO Specialist to manage maintenance, repair, and operations inventory and materials supporting plant reliability and uptime. Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in technical, supply chain, or related field.
• Working knowledge of CMMS or inventory systems and spreadsheets.
• Knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, replenishment, lead times, stock levels, purchasing workflows, and material tracking.
• Knowledge of industrial maintenance parts and equipment components.
• Understanding of OSHA safety practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing documents; resolve discrepancies with Purchasing and suppliers.
• Maintain organized, secure storage locations for MRO parts, materials, tools, and supplies.
• Record receipts, issues, returns, transfers, and inventory adjustments in CMMS or inventory system.
• Identify required parts using equipment records and drawings; obtain technical approval for substitutions.
• Follow safety, handling, storage, and housekeeping requirements when receiving, storing, and issuing materials.
• Monitor stock levels, usage, lead times, and open orders; prepare replenishment requests and coordinate purchasing.
• Submit purchase requisitions for MRO parts with accurate descriptions, quantities, pricing, and delivery dates.
• Pick, kit, stage, and issue materials for preventive maintenance and planned repairs with Maintenance Planner.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and Purchasing to expedite shortages and track delivery commitments.
• Perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies; process corrections.
