Job summary

MilliporeSigma seeks an Inventory Coordinator to maintain an accurate MRO parts inventory, coordinate purchasing, receiving, and replenishment, and support facility maintenance operations. You will keep CMMS records up-to-date and work with maintenance, operations, purchasing, and suppliers to ensure parts are available when needed while controlling costs.

The role emphasizes data discipline, cycle counts, and reporting, with strong Excel/Word skills and CMMS experience.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; relevant training preferred.
  • 2+ years in MRO, storeroom, inventory control, purchasing, or materials management.
  • Experience ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking maintenance parts or industrial supplies.
  • Experience with CMMS platforms (SAP, Maximo, Infor, Fiix, eMaint) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review CMMS data to identify needs and prepare purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate part records and equipment associations in CMMS.
  • Inspect shipments, store parts safely, and manage storeroom security.
  • Execute cycle counts and reconcile stock with CMMS records.
  • Track stock levels and generate reports using Excel and Word.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, purchasing, and suppliers to meet parts needs.
