Do you have a passion for providing quality patient care? We are looking for an MRI/X-ray Technologist to deliver optimum quality care and imaging procedures to patients in our modern clinic setting with state-of-the-art technology and award-winning physicians.

This is a PRN position. We seek a skilled Technologist who is reliable, has strong interpersonal skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with an ortho/neuro focus.

Responsibilities
  • Knowledgeable in the care, handling, and usage of equipment and supplies.
  • Organizes equipment and instruments, setting up quickly and accurately to ensure proper and adequate equipment for all cases.
  • Maintains a skill level and working knowledge with specific references to medical and surgical disease and scientific principles as applied to MRI scanning.
  • Demonstrates skill and knowledge to identify disease abnormalities and physiological processes while performing MRI scans.
  • Displays initiative to obtain additional scans, views, or extreme technical factors as required, providing maximum information for the radiologist to make an accurate diagnosis.
  • Completes and records patient time, examination, and contrast with the MRI procedure performed.
  • Demonstrates ingenuity and initiative with various technical procedures and equipment operation on an individual patient basis to provide the highest-quality examination.
  • Performs any necessary clerical work.
  • Responsible for screening patients for any ferromagnetic objects.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate
  • Completion from a School of Radiologic Technology
  • ARRT certification in MRI and a current BLS.
  • One (1) year of experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. frequently.
