Job summary

Prime Imaging Center LLC is seeking an experienced MRI/X-ray Technologist to join our team for Thursdays and Saturdays. You will perform examinations, assist with department workflow, and ensure quality patient care across imaging modalities.

The ideal candidate brings MRI and X-ray experience, ARRT registration, CPR certification, and a commitment to safety and confidentiality in a fast-paced diagnostic setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiology program.
• National registration with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (AART).
• Current CPR certification for Health Care Providers.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in MRI and X‑ray.

Responsibilities

• Perform examinations to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care.
• Assist with the workflow of the department to ensure the completion of work assignments.
• Demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and competency in clinical area of the practice.
• Demonstrate the ability to use all channels of communication to address inter‑ and intradepartmental concerns, solve problems, and address conflict.
• Comply with clinical accreditation requirements and submission deadlines.
• Assist with clinical accreditation applications and inspections.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Administer IV contrast on exams that request it (when applicable).
• Establish and maintain effective working relationship with patients, medical staff and the public.
• Maintain a safe and appropriate work area; maintain inventory of supplies.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Our facility is currently looking for an experienced MRI/X‑ray Technologist to join our team for Thursdays and Saturdays.

Other Requirements

• Knowledge of current medical terminology
• Knowledge of imaging techniques to perform routine tests
• Knowledge of imaging equipment and testing to perform quality control checks and troubleshooting of instrumentation

• Ability to communicate effectively in the English language in person, by phone and in writing
• Requires adherence to all policies and procedures, including standards for safety, attendance, punctuality and personal appearance
