Job summary

HCA Healthcare Colleton Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist for a weekend-only day shift. The role involves performing MRI procedures, preparing patients, and maintaining imaging quality under strict safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate will hold an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT credentials in Radiography and MRI within 6 months of hire, and SCRQSA state licensure, plus recent BCLS. This position supports patient-centered care at Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro, SC.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology is required.
• ARRT - Radiography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging certification within 6 months of hire.
• SCRQSA state license required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 2 weeks of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures following established protocols to ensure high-quality imaging.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and position them properly.
• Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety standards.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures in accordance with established protocols, ensuring high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis. This role involves patient preparation, operation of MRI equipment, and adherence to safety standards to provide optimal patient care.

What qualifications you will need:

• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology required
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)- Radiography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (within 6 months of hire)
• South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA)- State License required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 2 weeks of employment start date
