Premier Health MRI Technologist – Hospital Based-Weekend Pay Program at Miami Valley Hospital-South, Centerville, OH. The role requires independent MRI procedures, management of patient flow, and strict adherence to MRI safety and contrast administration.

There is potential on-call responsibilities; licensure and registry are preferred. BLS within 30 days of hire; ODH licensure preferred; one year MRI experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences with MRI emphasis or equivalent.
• ARRT RT (R) or ARMRIT registry preferred; MRI registry preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire; ODH licensure preferred.
• One year MRI experience preferred; knowledge of MRI safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs MRI using proper techniques and contrast administration.
• Coordinates patient flow and MRI scanner activities and safety.
• Maintains equipment and follows MRI safety practices.
• May perform procedures in other imaging modalities as needed.
• May have on-call responsibilities.

Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration ofmedications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture.
