Job summary

A health services provider in Dayton, Ohio is seeking a full-time MRI Technician for their weekend program. The ideal candidate will perform MRI procedures using proper techniques while ensuring patient safety and equipment maintenance. An associate degree in Allied Health is required, along with CPR certification and preferred MRI registry. This position does not require prior job experience but one year of MRI experience is preferred. Hours are Friday to Sunday, 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

General Summary / Responsibilities

Independently performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media. Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the MRI scanner including MRI safe practices. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of his/her duties in order to maintain equipment in good working condition. May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs. May have on call responsibilities.
