Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina seeks an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI exams using 3T, mobile, and upright scanners. You will work in a patient-centered environment with protocol support and MRSO guidance.

The role requires graduation from an accredited radiologic program, ARRT(R) registration, and BLS certification. Weekend night shifts Fri–Sun, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and up to $5,000 relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• 0 to 2 years of modality-specific work experience, at least 1 year of X-Ray experience preferred.
• Must be ARRT (R) registered; ARMRIT registration required within 1 year if not already.
• Current BLS required (AHA or Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations across all ages.
• Operate MRI equipment safely to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Position patients and educate them about MRI procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow safety standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and nurses to ensure excellent care.
