Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina seeks an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI exams on patients of all ages using 3T, mobile, and upright scanners. You will work in a patient-centered, collaborative environment with protocol support and MRI safety practices.

This full-time days position includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and up to $5,000 relocation assistance, plus weekend day differential and additional pay opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• ARRT registration (R) required; ARMRIT within 1 year if not registered.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.
• 0–2 years modality experience; 1 year X-Ray experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations across all age groups.
• Operate MRI equipment safely to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients regarding MRI procedures.
• Maintain safety standards and document patient records per requirements.

Education

Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology

ARRT registration (R) required
