Job summary

HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge is seeking an MRI Technologist PRN to join our radiology team. You will operate MRI scanners and produce quality images to support accurate diagnoses, while interviewing patients and preparing them for exams.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, documenting studies, maintaining scanner knowledge, and assisting with training of new staff and students during rotations. Weekday coverage required; no travel.

Qualifications

• Currently registered as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MR registry).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification.
• Registry through ARRT or equivalent (ARRT-MR, ARRT-R, or ARMRIT) or an Associate Degree.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• One year of MRI Imaging Department experience preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Position and prepare patients for exams according to the procedure type.
• Perform procedures and assess patients throughout and respond to needs.
• Complete documentation for each study performed.
• Maintain knowledge of scanners and exam protocols for quality procedures.
• Participate in orientation and training of new staff and students during rotations.
