Job summary

HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge in the Denver metropolitan area seeks an experienced MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and generate high-quality images for diagnosis. You will interview patients, explain the procedure, and position them for imaging while applying clinical judgment throughout imaging sessions.

Qualifications

• Currently registered as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MR registry).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification as specified in policy.
• Current registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• One year of experience in an MRI Imaging Department preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (ARMRIT) American Registry of MRI Technologists, or Associate Degree

Responsibilities

• You will position and prepare patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed.
• You will be performing procedures and assessing patients throughout and responding to the patient’s needs as appropriate.
• You will complete appropriate documentation for each study performed.
• You will use professional discernment and critical thinking when performing procedures.
• You will participate in orientation and training of new staff members and teach students during their clinical rotations.
• You will maintain thorough knowledge of scanners and exam protocols in order to ensure the highest quality procedures.
