Job summary

At HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke's, we are seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and create high-quality images to support accurate diagnoses.

You will interview patients, explain the procedure, and position them correctly for each exam. You will maintain scanner knowledge, participate in training, and ensure documentation is complete while delivering compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Currently registered as an MRI Technologist with ARRT MR.
• BLS verification in accordance with policy.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• One year MRI imaging experience preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARMRIT certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Position and prepare patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed.
• Perform procedures and assess patients throughout and respond to the patient’s needs as appropriate.
• Complete appropriate documentation for each study performed.
• Use professional discernment and critical thinking when performing procedures.
• Participate in orientation and training of new staff members and teach students during their clinical rotations.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of scanners and exam protocols to ensure the highest quality procedures.
