Job summary

Lexington Health in West Columbia, SC is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI scans of selected anatomy as requested by clinicians. The role requires graduation from an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology or completion of an MRI program, CPR certification, ARRT in MRI, and MRI certification within 1 year.

You will verify orders in EMR, screen for safety, prepare patients, operate MRI equipment, and assist radiologists with biopsies or specialized procedures.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ARRT certification in MRI or ARRT MRI eligibility with MRI certification within 1 year.
• Graduate from AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or complete MRI program.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans as ordered by clinicians.
• Screen patients for safety and obtain MRI screening form when possible.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures; observe patient during exams.
