Job summary

Lexingtononcology is looking for a part-time MRI Technician in Columbia, South Carolina. The technician will be responsible for performing MRI scans and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Applicants should have completed an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program and obtain necessary certifications. The position includes a commitment to cleanliness in the MRI department and assisting in overall patient care.

Qualifications

• Requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Must have CPR certification or acquire within 90 days.
• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology or MRI must be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans ensuring patient safety.
• Provide information and reassurance to patients regarding the process.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the MRI department.

Skills

Proficiency in venipuncture

Ability to monitor and teach MRI students

Competence in MRI operations

Emergency response skills

Education

Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology or Completion of an MRI program
