Job summary

Lexington Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform detailed MRI scans and ensure patient safety. You will prepare patients, verify orders in the EMR, and assist radiologists with procedures as needed.

The role requires certification in MRI (ARRT) and CPR, with training on venipuncture and infection control. This is a full-time on-site position in West Columbia, SC, offering comprehensive benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or MRI program.
• Certification in MRI and ARRT satisfied within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans per radiologist protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and prepare patients for MRI procedures.
• Obtain necessary consent and screen for contraindications.
• Assist radiologists with biopsies and aseptic procedures.
• Transmit images to PACS and maintain equipment cleanliness.
