Job summary

Lexington Health is seeking a part-time MRI technologist to perform MRI scans and prepare patients for procedures. You will ensure safety protocols, assist radiologists, and manage imaging logistics in a clinical setting.

The role requires ARRT/MRI certification and CPR certification with no required years of experience. Training will cover equipment use and safety procedures, with on-site scheduling for AM/PM shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology or Completion of an MRI program.
• Current CPR certification or must obtain within 90 days of hire.
• ARRT certification or MRI certification within 1 year from hire date.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient transport and prepares patients for MRI procedures.
• Performs optimum quality MRI scans according to radiologist’s protocols.
• Electronically sends images to PACS and maintains equipment cleanliness.
