Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a MRI Technician for a variable shift PRN role in Montclair, NJ. The technician will produce diagnostic MRI images, review orders, select coils, and document patient data using hospital systems.

Required to obtain MRI certification within one year of hire and maintain BLS within 14 days of hire. High school diploma or vocational/technical credential is required; 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School or GED or vocational/technical diploma required or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in MRI or related field preferred.
• Must obtain MRI certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic MRI images safely using MRI technology.
• Review chart/physician orders to set imaging parameters.
• Select appropriate imaging coils and perform MRI procedures.
• Document data and manage patient information in hospital systems.
