Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT or ARRT R cross-trained in MRI.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity, review orders, and prepare patients for MRI examinations.
• Perform MRI examinations according to department protocols while ensuring patient safety, comfort and quality care.
• Operate MRI equipment and related information systems with accurate patient documentation.
• Follow MRI safety guidelines, infection prevention practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with radiologists, providers, caregivers and support staff to deliver patient care.
• Assist with training and mentoring students and team members as needed.
