Job summary

UNMH is seeking a Magnetic Resonance Imaging technologist to perform MRI exams (Neuro, Musculoskeletal, Body Imaging) adhering to protocols and safety standards. You will deliver high-quality patient care across Neonate to Geriatric age groups and collaborate with staff to ensure accurate imaging and documentation.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, paperwork, and assisting in the imaging workflow while maintaining ALARA and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Education: Essential: Program Graduate.
• Education specialization: Comm on Allied Health (AMA) or Accredited ED Program.

Responsibilities

• Follow patient safety-related policies, procedures and protocols.
• Demonstrate proactive approach to patient safety by seeking opportunities to improve patient safety.
• Position and immobilize patients for examinations and procedures.
• Assist physician with imaging process and follow Radiology Department protocols.
• Observe patient and equipment during procedures and document reactions or problems.
