Job summary

We are looking for an exceptional MRI Tech to join a patient-centered team at UVM Health - UVM Medical Center in Burlington, VT. The MRI Technologist will perform complex MRI exams, ensure safety for patients with implants, and adapt to evolving imaging techniques under radiologist supervision.

Qualified candidates graduate from a CAHEA/JRCT-approved Radiologic Technology program, hold ARRT MRI certification or have ARMRIT/NMTCB options, and possess 2 years of radiology imaging experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT MRI certification preferred or eligible.
• Two years radiology imaging experience; cross-sectional imaging preferred.
• BLS certified; CE compliant as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex MRI exams on varying strength magnets.
• Adhere to MRI safety and patient comfort, especially for claustrophobic patients.
• Operate under radiologist supervision using MRI technology and safety protocols.
