Job summary

UVMMC is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform MRI exams with attention to safety and patient comfort. The role requires adapting to new imaging techniques and working under Radiologist supervision in Burlington, VT.

Two years radiology imaging experience and CAHEA/JRCT-approved education are expected; ARRT MRI certification preferred. Sign-on bonuses and relocation assistance are available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Radiologic Technology program approved by CAHEA/JRCT.
• ARRT MRI Certification preferred or ARMRIT/NMTCB equivalents may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex MRI exams on varying strength magnets.
• Adhere to MRI safety practices and screen patients for implants.
• Operate under supervision of Radiologist and MRI Supervisor to ensure quality imaging.
