Job summary

UVM Medical Center seeks a Magnetic Resonance Technologist to perform imaging procedures using advanced MRI technology. The role requires strong MRI safety knowledge, compassionate patient care, and the ability to adapt to new imaging techniques under Radiologist supervision.

Two years of cross-sectional imaging experience is preferred, with MRI certification within two years or ARRT/ARMRIT certification. Schedule involves three 12-hour shifts weekly and every third weekend, with call

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology (CAHEA/JRCT).
• MRI certification within 2 years or ARRT/ARMRIT certification.
• Be prepared to provide college transcripts during interview.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures using MRI equipment.
• Safely image patients with implants or devices (pacemakers, etc.).
• Operate under supervision of Radiologist and MRI Supervisor.
• Adapt to evolving imaging technology and techniques.
