Job summary

The MRI technologist will work with the radiologist and fellow staff members to prepare patients and operate magnetic resonance equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans. The MRI technologist works under general supervision in performing a variety of exams and procedures according to departmental protocol, as requested by physician order.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, MRI schooling completed.
• 2 years healthcare experience preferred.
• ARRT or ARMRIT MRI registration or eligibility with registration within 12 months.
