Job summary

RadNet is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI exams and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced radiology setting. The role involves administering contrast when needed and using MRI parameters to produce superior images.

You will guide patients through procedures with empathy, respond to physician needs, and uphold patient privacy and safety standards. ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification and BLS are required; prior imaging experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and use MRI parameters to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through procedures with clear, empathetic communication.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient information and medication on site.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during interactions.
