Job summary

Baystate Health seeks an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and provide high-quality diagnostic images under Radiologist supervision. You will support patient care from intake through imaging, following established policies and safety guidelines.

The role requires coordinating patient flow, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with radiologists and staff. Training and ongoing education are encouraged, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Formal radiologic technology program completed (AMA approved).
• Ability to operate MRI equipment independently and safely.
• Self-motivated with attention to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient info using two identifiers and follow safety standards.
• Operate MRI equipment to acquire diagnostic images per radiologist specs.
• Coordinate patient flow and ensure accurate documentation in PACS/RIS.
