Job summary

RadNet in Fort Myers, FL seeks an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI exams, ensure patient safety, and administer contrast as needed. You will apply technical knowledge of TR, TE, slice thickness and field of view to produce excellent images while guiding patients through the exam with empathy.

Applicants should hold ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, a state license if applicable, and BLS. The position offers generous benefits, a $15,000 sign-on bonus or student loan payment option,

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and adjust imaging parameters to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through the exam process with clear, compassionate communication.
• Respond to physician questions regarding patient imaging needs.
