Job summary

RadNet in Naples, FL seeks an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI exams while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will operate advanced imaging equipment, manage contrast administration, and tailor imaging parameters to obtain optimal results.

The role requires ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, a state radiologic license if applicable, and BLS. One year of imaging experience is preferred, with emphasis on patient communication and safety.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through procedures and address questions and concerns.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient property and PHI as required.
• Safeguard on-site medications per policy and law.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during interactions.
• Interact diplomatically with patients and families in a clinical setting.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
