Job summary

RadNet, Inc. in Florida is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. You will perform high-quality MRI exams and ensure patient safety while adhering to established protocols.

You may administer contrast and adjust settings to obtain excellent diagnostic images. We require ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, state radiologic licensure if applicable, and BLS. Venipuncture training is preferred; at least one year of imaging experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• BLS certification.
• A venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies and any legal requirements.
