RadNet in Florida is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI exams, ensure patient safety, and administer contrast as needed. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care and precise image acquisition in a fast-paced setting.

Required ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT, state license, BLS, and at least one year of imaging experience; competitive hourly pay with benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifikationen

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable
• Must have BLS certification
• A venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!

Aufgaben

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments on the equipment to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through the process and answer questions about exam procedures.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguards patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards medications on site per policies and regulations.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during interactions.
