Qualifications

• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within 6 months.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operates magnetic resonance equipment for imaging procedures.
• Obtains patient medical histories and prepares contrast media.
• Positions patients correctly and ensures safety protocols.
• Maintains records and enters patient information into the system.
• Performs quality assurance tests and reports equipment issues.

Skills

Knowledge of cross sectional anatomy and magnetic safety

Excellent communication skills

Competent in IV and venipuncture

Ability to work independently

Intermediate computer skills

Education

Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
