Job summary

TRA Medical Imaging in the Tacoma/Olympia region is seeking a MR Technologist to perform MRI examinations in line with ARRT and ARMRIT standards. You will operate GE Signa and Siemens Aera systems, review patient history, and work with PACS to deliver high-quality images for radiologists.

The role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT credentials, BLS, and strong clinical skills in anatomy and pathology. A supportive team environment and ongoing education are emphasized.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR Registered or ARMRIT Registry required.
• WA MR Technologist Certification (pending) for state licensure.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for MR exams with clear instructions.
• Operates GE Signa and Siemens Aera scanners.
• Obtains patient history relevant to the exam.
• Implements physician orders and produces high-quality images.
• Performs IV punctures.
• Performs necessary computer functions (PACS).
• Maintains neat and stocked work areas.
• Participates in orientation and in-service training.
• Checks work email daily.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
