Job summary

TRA Medical Imaging is seeking an MR Technologist to perform MR functions per ARRT/ARMRIT standards. You will work under supervision, utilizing GE Signa and Siemens Aera scanners, with emphasis on cross-sectional anatomy, pathophysiology and MR physics.

Ensure quality images and accurate patient data while maintaining workflow and patient care. The role requires BLS, ARRT MR registration or ARMRIT, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced radiology environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT (MR) Registered or ARMRIT Registry required
• Must meet qualifications to apply for Washington State MR Technologist Certification
• Current BLS certification required
• Able to apply IV principles under the scope of Radiologic Technologists
• Provides patient care in accordance with TRA mission
• Maintains high standards for accurate recording of patient information
• Presents high quality images and pertinent patient history to radiologist
• Requires effective oral and written skills
• Prompt and efficient with minimal absences
• Cooperates with co-workers to ensure proper patient care and workflow
• Communicate professionally with other medical facilities, patients, and customers
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and carry out instructions effectively

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for MR exams with explanations and clear instructions
• Utilizes GE Signa and Siemens Aera scanners
• Obtains a thorough patient history related to the exam
• Accurately implements referring orders and produces images with minimal repeats
• Performs IV punctures
• Performs necessary computer functions (PACS)
• Keeps work area and exam areas neat and stocked
• Participates in orientation and in-service training
• Check work email daily
• Performs other related duties as assigned
