Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• ARRT/ARMRIT or CNMT credential in good standing; ARRT or equivalent pathways.
• MR Imaging Certification (ARRT MR) required within one year of hire.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.

Aufgaben

• Acquire and review patient data to determine contraindication for MRI exam.
• Perform MRI procedures per protocol and conduct daily QA.
• Educate patients regarding MRI procedures, equipment, and exams.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate service.
• Maintain high equipment uptime for patient access.
• Process billing via RIS.
• Instruct and mentor new hires and radiology students.
• Attend in-service programs and professional sessions.
