As an MRI Technologist, you will perform MRI exams and procedures on patients of all ages while maintaining patient safety. This position offers a great starting point on which to expand your skillsets and experience. Tech will follow mobile MRI machine between Twinsburg and Sports Health.

Work Hours

A caregiver in this position works days, 7:00am—3:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and review patient questionnaire, chart and data/requisition to determine contraindication of MRI examination.
• Perform MRI procedures required per protocol and perform daily QA.
• Educate patients regarding MRI procedures, equipment, and exams.
• Ensure patients' comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Report any malfunctions and observe potential equipment dysfunctions and report problems or calls for service.
• Maintain available equipment uptime at the highest level for patient accessibility.
• Instruct and mentor new hires and Radiology students.
• Attend in‑service programs and professional affiliation sessions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or graduate of an accredited institution per the primary pathway of the ARRT.
• Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of MRI Technologists (ARMRIT) or The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT), or R.T.(S)(ARRT), or R.T.(T)(ARRT), in good standing. Or must be a Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(N) (ARRT) in good standing or be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (ARDMS and NMTCB are primary pathways).
• Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging: R.T.(MR)(ARRT) (required within one year of hire).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross certification.
• Knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year experience as a General Radiologic Technologist or experience in other imaging modalities.

Physical Requirements

• Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily.
• Requires frequent pushing and pulling of equipment up to 75 pounds.

Personal Protective Equipment

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $35.25

Maximum hourly: $53.00
