Job summary

University Hospitals in Beachwood, OH is seeking an MRI technologist to perform MRI exams, ensuring patient comfort and safety. The role supports radiology services within the Ahuja Medical Center, collaborating with radiologists and staff to deliver high-quality imaging.

Part-time position with opportunities for career ladder progression. Requires ARRT MR pathway or MRI-focused education, and BLS certification upon hire. Prior MR experience is preferred, with orientation provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field is required.
• MRI track or ARRT-MR pathway is preferred/required upon hire.
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI scans as directed by radiologist and, after orientation, independently conducts scans.
• Provides patient care across age groups from neonates to geriatrics.
• Maintains safe MRI environment and knowledge of MRI equipment.
• Uses PACS, RIS, and EMR to document and manage exams.
• Collaborates with clinical staff and supports department operations.
• Maintains professional growth and ongoing learning.
