Job summary

University Hospitals in Beachwood, OH is seeking an MRI technologist to perform MRI examinations and provide compassionate patient care. You will work with radiologists to obtain high-quality images and support accurate diagnoses while ensuring patient safety and comfort across all ages.

Responsibilities include operating MRI equipment, maintaining a clean, safe environment, and collaborating with clinical staff. A strong foundation in MRI safety, PACS, RIS, and EMR is required.

Qualifications

• MR scanning experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sterile and surgical procedures.
• Active knowledge of MRI equipment and safety in MRI environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI scans as directed by radiologist; independently conducts scans after orientation and training.
• Provides age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics.
• Maintains technical skills and safety in MRI environment.
• Ensures a safe, clean environment and patient comfort during MRI visits.
• Collaborates with co-workers and clinical staff; uses PACS/EMR/RIS.
• Manages administrative tasks and scheduling for in-patient requests.
• Adheres to PHI handling policies and UH procedures.
