Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an MRI Technologist in New Jersey to produce diagnostic MRI images, select coils, and work with physicians to optimize sequences. The role requires MRI program certification and ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT within 9 months, plus BLS within 60 days.

You will handle contrast administration, documentation, and safety protocols daily. The position includes on‑site work with on‑call and shift coverage.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Certificate/degree from an accredited Radiography or MRI program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite).
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification within 9 months of start.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days.

Aufgaben

• Produce diagnostic MRI images and determine imaging parameters.
• Select imaging coils and perform scans using proper techniques.
• Collaborate with physicians to optimize MRI sequences.
• Administer contrast media per department protocols.
• Verify patient eligibility and obtain consent as appropriate.
• Document patient data and perform post‑processing for quality images.
• Maintain MRI safety zones and assist with emergency care including CPR.
• Greet patients and adhere to organizational standards of behavior.
