Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to produce diagnostic MRI images, optimize sequences, and collaborate with physicians to ensure high-quality studies. Responsibilities include chart review, coil selection, and administering contrast while maintaining safety standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, ARRT MR certification, and strong communication skills. The role involves shift work, on-call duties, and daily use of EMR/PACS in a fast-paced hospital

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certificate or degree from an accredited Radiography or MRI program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office / Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient chart/physician order to determine imaging parameters.
• Selects imaging coil and performs MRI studies with proper protocols.
• Administers contrast media following dept protocols.
• Ensures patient safety, consent, and pregnancy screening as applicable.
• Documents data in EMR/PACS and other systems.
