Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to produce diagnostic images using MRI technology in a clinical setting. The role supports patient care through accurate imaging and collaboration with the radiology team.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a radiography or MRI program certificate/degree, and strong communication skills with proficient computer skills (MS Office/Google Suite). Proficiency in performing MRI safely is essential.

The MRI Technologist is responsible for producing diagnostic images using MRI technology.

*Eligible for a pro-rated sign-on bonus for part time MRI Technologist positions who accept a job offer on or before October 22, 2026

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.


• Certificate of Completion/Degree from an accredited Radiography or MRI programs.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Minimum of one year of MRI experience.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT, MR) or ARMRIT within 9 months of entering position


• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position
