Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to produce high-quality diagnostic images using MRI technology. You will review orders, select coils, perform scans, optimize sequences, and document findings while ensuring patient safety and adherence to hospital protocols.

Responsibilities include post-processing, contrast administration per protocol, and coordinating with physicians. Overtime and weekend shifts are required; on-call duties may apply as per policy.

Qualifications

• Compliant with ARRT or ARMRIT MRI educational & clinical requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills with MS Office/Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient’s chart and order to determine imaging parameters.
• Selects proper imaging coil and performs MRI studies with correct protocols.
• Administers contrast media following MRI department protocols.
• Performs post-processing to optimize imaging results and documentation.
• Maintains MRI safety, screens patients, and handles on-call shifts as required.
