Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking an MRI Technologist at St. John’s Hospital in Maplewood, MN. This 1.0 FTE position runs Sunday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM, with weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Technical Certificate Upon Hire
• ARRT Radiology Tech Upon Hire
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross) Upon Hire
• One year experience in a related role preferred
• ARRT MRI certification or completion within 1-1.5 years

Responsibilities

• Performs individualized, compassionate patient care
• Performs high quality examinations
• Identifies relevant data from images accurately
• Uses appropriate communication skills to meet patient/family, and other customer needs
• Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional

• Educates patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of exam
