Job summary

Hmixray is hiring an MRI Technologist in Westminster, Colorado. You will perform high-quality MRI exams, ensure patient safety, administer contrast when needed, and optimize imaging parameters to produce excellent results.

You will guide patients, answer questions, and collaborate with physicians while safeguarding PHI and site assets. The role requires ARRT MR certification, state licensing where applicable, BLS, and preferably 1 year of imaging experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology where applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and adjust TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view on MRI equipment.
• Guide patients through the exam process with clear explanations and answers to questions.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient property and PHI.
• Safeguard medications on site per policies and legal requirements.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in clinical settings.
