The role supports patient comfort, maintains equipment and supplies, and works with radiologists and the healthcare team to achieve optimal imaging results. The ideal candidate has 0–2 years of MRI experience and ARRT/ARMRIT eligibility or certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
• 0-2 years of clinical experience as a registered MRI Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures according to physician orders and protocols.
• Review patient histories to identify contraindications and ensure safety.
• Operate MRI equipment and processing software following safety guidelines.
• Educate and prepare patients for MRI exams and address questions.
• Maintain MRI safety zones and verify patient/staff readiness.
• Document clinical history with exam findings for radiologist review.
• Manage MRI supplies and ensure sterility of equipment.
• Verify orders and patient identity prior to scans.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize results.
• Monitor equipment functionality and report issues promptly.
• Provide instructions to patients during and after exams.
