The ideal candidate will have ARRT MRI certification, BLS, and at least two years of MRI experience, with a focus on patient safety and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
• 2 years experience as an MRI Technologist is required.
• Advanced ARRT MRI (MR) certification is required and BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence in performing all MRI procedures on patients of all ages.
• Positions patient and selects the correct protocol.
• Maintains competency in non-scanner related components.
• Follows established imaging protocols for each exam.
• Performs quality control per ACR guidelines.
• Provides age-specific patient care and education.
• Remotely initiates and controls scanning parameters in real time.
• Monitors image quality and repeats sequences as needed.
• Communicates with on-site staff and provides guidance to operators.
• Documents scan details and any protocol deviations.
