Job summary

Loyola Medicine in Berwyn, IL is seeking an MRI Tech – Registry/PRN to perform MRI exams, operate equipment safely, and support radiology workflows. This role emphasizes patient prep, contrast administration, and contributing to a high-quality diagnostic imaging program.

The position requires an AAS in Radiologic Technology, MRI certification, ARRT MRI or ARMRIT, and CPR certification, with a rotating shift and part-time/flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• MRI Technologist Certification required.
• ARRT MRI or ARMRIT certification.
• AHA CPR certification (CPR only).

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams according to established protocols, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate MRI equipment safely; troubleshoot basic issues and maintain readiness of imaging systems.
• Prepare exam rooms, equipment, supplies, and procedure trays to support workflow.
• Assist radiologists with special procedures and administer contrast media per guidelines.
• Maintain clean, organized rooms; ensure proper stocking of supplies and rapid room turnover.
• Promote a safe environment for patients and staff through proper screening and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Minimum Education

Pay Range: $37.00 – $59.00 per hour
