Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking an MRI Technologist PRN to perform high-quality MRI scans on patients of all ages under the supervision of a Radiologist. The role emphasizes maintaining a safe and therapeutic diagnostic environment in accordance with magnet safety guidelines.

The position involves participation in departmental improvement activities and support for the hospital's commitment to excellent patient care within the Medical City network.

Qualifications

• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• Graduate of AMA approved school of radiology technology.
• ARRT certification.
• MRT State of Texas license.
• MRI Certification through ARRT required by December 31, 2012.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI scans on patients of all ages under Radiologist direction.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic diagnostic environment per practice standards and magnet safety guidelines.
• Participates in departmental improvement activities.
